Of course, we encountered some good times and some bad times. One of our bad time (or should I saw my bad time) was that I lost one of our paddles while we were out in the waters. My father, my younger brother (7), and I were going out to gather 2 of our long-term crab traps. While I was padding, my blade came off and started to sink down. I forgot to tighten my blade to the shaft of my paddle and now I'm going to have to replace it. It was horrible, we were almost stuck out in the sea. We thought they would float so we didn't rush to grab it when it came off. We guessed wrong.

Since we were out in the waters already, we decided to quickly grab our nets and head back to the docks. Unfortunately, we encountered some wind and it made it hard to paddle back. My little brother (7) started to get scared and began to panic. After trying to calm him down he started to relax a little bit, but not after he vomited over the side of the boat. Eventually we got close enough for me to jump out of the boat and help tow it back to shore. The water was very cold, but it felt good after feeling the heat under the sun.

In total, our catch of the day was pretty good. We were able to capture 1 dungeness crab and 5 red rock crabs. We also caught a few cool looking starfish in our nets. They were all released back into the sea.

Yesterday, my boyfriend (Shadow) and I stayed at my place for the whole day. We were tired so we ended up watching some old movies, such as Catch Me If You Can (2002) starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Awake (2007) starring Hayden Christensen, Jessica Alba and Terence Howard. They are all really good movies, and I recommend them if you want something to watch. Just one of your typical "slack-off" days.
