I had a really good weekend! I know it's kind of late posting about it now, but you can never be too late. Last Saturday (July the 18th), my father, Shadow (boyfriend), and I worked together to build fences for my bunnies. We build them so they can cover two main walkways so we can let the bunnies out to play without worrying that they may run out into the streets. In the following photos, you will either see my father or my boyfriend working on it. That doesn't mean I didn't do anything! I did by hammering and screwing the wood piece together and creating bindings for them. I'm not in any of the pictures because I had the camera in my hand.

After a while, my father had to go off to work so Shadow and I finished up and we decided to test them out! Perfecto.

I got a really excited so I decided to let the bunnies out. Time to exercise! The white bunny that you will see in the pictures is Chewy (3). The grey bunny is Snowflake (7). I have been planning on creating a page for the bunnies, just like how I have a page for my hamster, but that's still in progress. They have a longer history than my hamster. Since Chewy and Snowflake were out having fun, I couldn't leave Henry (hamster) inside so out he went. I was scared that he might get into a little hole or a bird my get him so I put him in the bunnies' old cage. It fit him perfectly, except he tried to get out. My little escape artist.

On Sunday, I had a few friends come over for a monthly potluck. I know that sounds a lot, but we do something special. We choose a type of cuisine for each month and we create different dishes to eat. We finished baking goods, Chinese, and Italian cuisine. This month's theme was Canadian cuisine or French-Canadian cuisine. I made a big spinach quiche with lots of extra cheese and chocolate fondue with bananas, strawberries and pineapples. Yum, yum. After we finished eating, some of us played board games, such as Apples to Apples, Cranium - Adult Edition, Cranium - Family Edition, and Pictionary. We played for a long time and we ended just before dinner. I forgot to mention that my friends arrived at my house around 11:30 am. Long, eh?

While we ate and played, I let the bunnies run around. Boy, did they have fun.
